Council votes to go Non-Partisan

At last nights Town Council meeting  Mary McDowells campaign promise to turn Portsmouth from a partisan election to a non-partisan election became one step closer to a reality.  Mrs. McDowell put back on the agenda only after 2 weeks to "Discussion and request to move the non-partisan election forward in the best way that makes sense for our community. "  After little discussion the vote was take and passed.
