Town Council
Tasha MacGibbon
Background:
As a Portsmouth resident since 2011, I’ve built both my career and my family here, where my husband and I are raising our daughter. With over a decade of experience in business management—10 years in retail and the last 3 years in small businesses. This experience has equipped me with a strong foundation in leadership, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making. While I have not previously held political office, I made my first attempt to run for Town Council at the age of 21 in 2014. Today, I bring a results-driven approach that I believe can offer fresh solutions and a new perspective to our local government.
Why I’m running:
I’m running for office because our town deserves fresh ideas and practical solutions. My background in business management has given me the skills to approach challenges with a results-driven mindset. I’m ready to bring a new perspective to the Town Council and work hard to ensure we make meaningful progress on the issues that matter most to our community.
